Enrollment for new CVUSD students for the 2026–2027 school year is officially open! Start your child on their path of educational excellence: complete the Neighborhood School Enrollment process available as of November 3, 2025 - the same date the School Choice Application and Interdistrict Transfer Form opens.

A California Distinguished School
Lang Ranch Elementary School has a proven history of academic excellence.
This includes our school being recognized as a 2023 California Distinguished School, an exceptional achievement. The California Distinguished Schools program recognizes schools for their excellent work in one of two categories: closing the achievement gap and achieving exceptional student performance. To select California Distinguished Schools, the California Department of Education (CDE) uses multiple measures to identify eligible schools based on their performance on the state indicators as specified on the California School Dashboard.

Pursuing Passions: Student Enrichment Opportunities
Our Wranglers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging activities including our Gifted and Talented Education program, Reading and Math Club, Team program, Noetic Math, Odyssey of the Mind, Stock Market Club, Stand Proud, Fire Up Your Feet Run Club, Morning Greeters, Student Council and Tech Team.
We also have Enrichment Specialists for all grade levels in the areas of art, STEAM, music, physical education, band, strings, chorus and vocal arts.
